Hal Jordan is one of the bravest and strongest members of the Green Lantern Corps. Working to keep the peace between the Star Systems, Hal re-encounters his former lover Carol Ferris, with whom he has a personal history. However, Carol has now become a powerful enemy known as Star Sapphire. Star Sapphire's powers and intentions pose a grave threat to the Green Lantern Corps and the universe. Hal is forced to confront both his personal feelings and his duty to protect the universe.
