Ronald Dowl Moore is an American screenwriter and television producer. He is best known for his work on Star Trek; on the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica television series, for which he won a Peabody Award; and on Outlander, based on the novels of Diana Gabaldon.
An aging scientist from the planet Auron tries to cheat death by drawing powers from the stars and becoming immortal. He eventually does so with the help of a device called a Starband which ages the rest of the people on the planet. He eventually kills the rest of the Aurons and tries to conquer more worlds which has him come face to face with the Green Lanterns who must stop him before he conquers the galaxy. In addition to the mysterious force known only as the Manhunters.
