Regarded as a Hollywood icon, he has received various accolades, including an Honorary Palme d'Or and three Golden Globe Awards, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards. As of 2025, his films have grossed over $13.3 billion worldwide, placing him among the highest-grossing actors of all time. Meet Hal Jordan, an experienced retired US Air Forces pilot who lives on the planet OA and is responsible for training new recruits for the Green Lanterns, a police force that uses an energy ring and his willpower to protect the galaxy. Jordan is responsible for training John Stewart an architect when they are attacked by Atrocitus and his red lanterns where he tells of his origin and reveals to have killed Abin-Sur, so Hal, John started to stop and prevent Atrocitus from taking revenge on the Guardians for the destruction of his planet where Hal says that there are several Lanterns and each one would represent an emotional aspect and that years ago he defeated his partner Sinestro for turning against GreenCorp and that he finds himself stuck at this moment one of the main objectives of Atrocious and the Red Lanterns is to get revenge on Ganthet, who was responsible for the arrest of the Five Inversions (original group of Atrocious) on the planet Ysmault.
