Lee Grinner Pace (born March 25, 1979) is an American actor. Pace has been featured in film, stage and television. He starred as protagonist Joe MacMillan in AMC's Halt and Catch Fire. He also played Roy Walker/the Masked Bandit in the 2006 film The Fall. He has appeared in film series, including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 as Garrett and The Hobbit trilogy as Thranduil. He played villain Ronan the Accuser in the film Guardians of the Galaxy, and starred as Ned in the ABC series Pushing Daisies for which he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 2008. Green Lantern Corps was an American television series that ran for five seasons from 2016 to 2021. It is based on the DC Comics heroes the Green Lanterns. It is the first television series of the DCEU and the first in Phase 1. It premiered on November 11, 2016 and ended on January 15, 2021. After the defeat of Krona, Hal Jordan begins to have doubts in the Guardians, but still fights for the Green Lanterns along with John Stewart. However, the pre-cursor to the Guardians, an evil race known as The Controllers, want to destroy the Green Lanterns to make room for their own intergalactic police force. Hal Jordan and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps are the only ones that can stop them.
