John Stewart is an ex-soldier who is chosen to become a member of the intergalactic peacekeeping force known as the Green Lantern Corps.
He trains under Hal Jordon, who has been a Green Lantern for a few years. Strange attacks have began to prop up all over the Galaxy, and the two are sent to investigate. They shoon disover a link to Hal's past. They must work to stop the madman known as Sinestro from destroying the galaxy.
