Dedicated to maintaining intergalactic order, the Green Lantern Corps has been in existence for centuries. Hal Jordan, its latest recruit, is the first human to become a member. The Green Lanterns generally hold a low opinion of humans, who have not yet managed to wield the powers of the ring that each member possesses. However, Jordan, a talented and confident test pilot, could be the corps' sole chance for survival as a new adversary known as Parallax endangers the universal equilibrium of power.
