Karl-Heinz Urban (born 7 June 1972) is a New Zealand actor. His career began with appearances in New Zealand films and TV series such as Xena: Warrior Princess. His first Hollywood role was in the 2002 horror film Ghost Ship. Since then, he has starred in many high-profile movies, including as Éomer in the second and third installments of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Vaako in the second and third installments of Riddick film series, Leonard McCoy in the Star Trek reboot film series, Kirill in The Bourne Supremacy (2004), John "Reaper" Grimm in Doom (2005), Judge Dredd in Dredd (2012), Gavin Magary in Pete's Dragon (2016), and Skurge in Marvel Studios' Thor: Ragnarok (2017). In 2013, he starred in the sci-fi series Almost Human. Since 2019, he has starred as Billy Butcher in Amazon's superhero streaming television series The Boys.

When a mercenary named Slade Wilson comes to Star City after being hired by an anonymous source to kill Oliver Queen the Green Arrow and Arsenal have to go on the run. Throughout the movie Oliver and Roy face someone more skilled than anything they have ever faced before while being entirely unprepared. They end up teaming up with Dinah Drake aka Black Canary who despite their past ends up falling back in love with Oliver who has really changed after his time on the island. Eventually Oliver has to come clean after Slade tells Roy and Dinah that him and Oliver know more about each other than Oliver is letting on. Oliver tells them that he met Slade on the island and the two helped each other to get off the island. Eventually it was revealed to Oliver by Malcolm Merlyn that Slade was working for him. Slade tries to explain that he had changed and wants to go with Oliver but Oliver kicks him out of the helicopter and leaves Slade on the Island. Dinah and Roy go home and stop helping Oliver who ends up in a huge fight with Slade in the middle of a burning warehouse. Slade wins and Oliver wakes up back on the island with no sign of where Slade is.
