Robert Alan Queen is a supporting character in Green Arrow: Legend of the Emerald Archer. He is the billionaire founder and CEO of Queen Enterprises, husband to Moira Queen, and the biological father of Oliver Queen. An extremely immoral man who spent most of his life making several mistakes that destroying countless people's lives for the benefit of both him and his family, he eventually becomes guilt-ridden by all this. After an attack on the family yacht, The Queen's Gambit, by the League of Assassins, he chooses to redeem himself by sacrificing his own life for Oliver's safety, with his final command to his son, "Survive!", being one of the inspirations for Oliver’s transformation into a hero.
