Zachary Edward Snyder (born March 1, 1966) is an American filmmaker. He made his feature film debut in 2004 with Dawn of the Dead, a remake of the 1978 horror film of the same name. Since then, he has directed or produced a number of comic book and superhero films, including 300 (2006) and Watchmen (2009), as well as the Superman film that started the DC Extended Universe, Man of Steel (2013), and its follow-ups, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017), the latter of which had a director's cut released in 2021. He also directed the animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010), the psychological action film Sucker Punch (2011), the zombie heist film Army of the Dead (2021), and the two-part space opera films Rebel Moon (2023) and Rebel Moon—Part Two: The Scargiver (2024). In 2004, he founded the production company The Stone Quarry (formerly known as Cruel and Unusual Films) alongside his wife Deborah Snyder and producing partner Wesley Coller. For quite awhile now, Oliver Queen is the heir to Queen Tech in Star City. His father, Robert Queen wishes the best for him saying he might cause a lot of more problems in his life. When a murderous criminal going by Komodo attacks Queen Tech compounds: Robert decides to flee Star City with Oliver. Unfortunately while fleeing a bomb explodes destroying the boat they fled in. Robert and Oliver managed to survive but Robert seems to be dying from his wounds. Robert tells Oliver to live life to the fullest. The news of the believed deaths of Robert and Oliver Queen shocked the world. Helicopters managed to find the wreck and find Oliver still alive using his wit and skills of archery from his father before he died. Oliver decide to end Star City’s criminal problem.
