After returning from his time imprisoned on Lian Yu, Oliver Queen has spent the last two years dividing his time between being one of Star City's wealthiest men and the city's vigilante protector, Green Arrow. However, Oliver's time there has not only prepared him to be the defender the city needs, but has also taught him just how much of an advantage he has over others. By his side is his partner, Roy Harper, also known as Speedy. Together, they have just thwarted an attempted coup by Count Vertigo, sending him to jail. Soon, Oliver hopes to focus on doing what's best for Star City and reducing poverty in his city by helping the less fortunate. However, the city has other plans for him when a new player emerges, Brick, declaring war not only on China White's gang and attacking their territory, but also on the city's powerful figures like Oliver Queen and even the city's protector, Green Arrow, and for this he has hired Gotham's infamous sharpshooter, Deadshot. Now Oliver finds himself in the middle of a gang war in his city, being hunted and attacked on both fronts, as Oliver Queen and Green Arrow.
