Once he is released after serving 15 years in prison, mobster Tommy Vercetti is sent by his boss Sonny Forelli to expand his crime family's reach to Vice City, Florida. Tommy, however, grows more independent with time and decides to build his own criminal empire in the city with the aid of a corrupt lawyer Ken Rosenberg and drug dealer Lance Vance.
