After taking part in the Kosovo War and escaping the Russian underworld, Serbian soldier Niko Bellic finds refuge in Liberty City with his cousin Roman, who was lying about his fortune made in the New Continent. Niko soon becomes entangled in the city's worst circles, trying not to repeat the same mistakes of the war, but failing miserably.
