Like with Smallville, with Gotham you want to tell a core story. It’s an Origin story. It’s
covering the origin of some of the most notorious Batman Characters: Batman, James Gordon,and The Penguin. The idea is to do the show in the most controversial and unique way allowingthe for the series to become something unique and undone before.
