Koichi Kawakita was a Japanese director, cinematographer, and optical photographer best known for his work on most of the Heisei era Godzilla films and the first two Rebirth of Mothra films. He also occasionally appeared in cameos in some of Toho's tokusastu productions.
3 Years after the events of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, in 1999, the second Godzilla rises, but not to attack, but to defend. This new Godzilla is Earth's protector. And he and his allies must stop a cataclysmic threat beyond human imagination.
