Fenrir is a giant, monstrous wolf from Norse mythology. The son of the trickster god Loki and a giantess named Angrbooa, Fenrir has a violent temperament and is usually kept bound in chains; however, it is said that he will break free at Ragnarok and then kill and possibly devour Odin.
