Keiko Niwa (丹羽圭子) is a Japanese editor and writer. She wrote the screenplay of Ocean Waves under the pseudonym Kaoru Nakamura. She has written several screenplays for Studio Ghibli, mostly for films directed by Goro Miyazaki.
