After the end of the Vietnam War, many soldiers came back home and were ridiculed and insulted for a war that they themselves never wanted to fight. One such soldier was Spencer, a deserter traumatized, not just by war, but by his first confrontation with Godzilla. Now, years later, Godzilla reigns again as he attacks the main land of San Francisco.
