"Gods Among Us" is a thrilling and humorous TV series that reimagines the lives of the ancient Greek gods and goddesses as they navigate the complexities of the 21st century. Stripped of their divine powers and residing in a bustling modern city, these legendary figures must adapt to contemporary life while grappling with their immortal identities, old rivalries, and new relationships. The series opens with the once-mighty Zeus, now a charismatic yet somewhat outdated CEO of a tech startup, struggling to keep his company afloat amidst fierce competition. His wife, Hera, a high-powered lawyer, attempts to manage her husband’s erratic behavior while also dealing with her own professional ambitions and the challenges of their tumultuous marriage. Meanwhile, Apollo, the god of music and arts, tries to make a name for himself as a pop star, while Athena, the goddess of wisdom, runs a successful consulting firm, offering advice to those in need. Aphrodite, the goddess of love, is a social media influencer navigating the modern dating scene, often offering her followers dubious relationship advice.
