Haunted by visions of his past and tormented by the blood on his hands, Kratos seeks to end his suffering. Once a feared commander, he was saved from death by the war god Ares—only to be molded into a brutal weapon of divine destruction. But after being tricked into murdering his own wife and child in a blind rage, Kratos turns his wrath against the very god he once served. Now, under the watchful gaze of Athena, Kratos is given a final chance at redemption. To kill a god—Ares himself—and end the nightmare, he must journey across war-torn Greece, face mythical beasts, and survive the deadly trials of Pandora’s Temple to retrieve the one weapon capable of slaying a god: the Blade of the Gods.
