Lyman is an insect with buck teeth who wears a hat. Described as "insane", he frequently irritates his "best friend" Gnorm with his punning quips and roundabout methods of cheating at tennis and checkers. Lyman is an insane redneck insect of an unknown species (likely a flea), he is Gnorm Gnat's not-too-loyal friend, who is prone to making insensitive jokes (sometimes unintentionally) at Gnorm's expense, as well as cliche pun jokes such as "What's Snu?". He can occasionally be seen running small businesses, selling drinks and cars.
