Alexandra Pomales best known for staring in Silvana Sin Lana (Telemundo) The House Next Door (Telemundo), and Grachi (Nickelodeon Latin America) Alexandra was born in Indiana and is of Puerto Rican descent. She began to work in theater at the age of five in Ocala, Florida where she starred in several musical theater plays including Frumpled Fairy Tales, Rogers & Hammerstein Cinderella, The Jungle Book and A Christmas Carol. She was also part of the cast of Arabian Nights where she was able to combine acting and her passion for horseback riding. At the age of thirteen under the tutelage of renowned acting coach Hector Zavaleta, Pomales takes on acting specifically for Television. In 2009 Pomales pursues modeling where she did runway work to support national charities and raise awareness about child abuse. Television credits also include: Elena's Ghost (El Fanastma de Elena) (Telemundo), Killer Women(ABC) and leading roles in music videos. Pomales also stared in the soap opera En Otra Piel (Telemundo) a challenging role where her character (Valeria) was kidnapped by a human trafficking cartel. Commercial Indorsments credits include Coca cola and other national brands. Pomales hosted her own show called Turn It On that aired on the NUEVON channel-- A celebrity oriented Hispanic pop culture and lifestyle channel with content specifically tailored to young multi-cultural Latinos Pomales is also known as a goodwill ambassador for taking a stand against cyber-bullying. Her campaign called BLOCK IT has given her the opportunity to visit schools in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Her campaign was featured in CNN en Español. A black belt in Taekwondo, Pomales is also a Singer and Dancer.

The series centers on a high school show choir, also known as a glee club, in the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. Will Schuester takes over the glee club after the former teacher Sandy Ryerson is fired for inappropriate contact with a student. With a rag-tag group of misfit teenagers, Will attempts to restore the glee club to its former glory while tending to his developing feelings for his co-worker, guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury, as well as defending the glee club's existence from the conniving cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). A major focus of the series is the students in the glee club: their relationships as couples, their love of singing and desire for popularity coming into conflict due to their membership in the low-status club, and the many vicissitudes of life in high school and as a teenager.
