Rebecca Alie O'Connell (née Romijn/roʊˈmeɪn/ roh-MAYN, Dutch: [roːˈmɛin]; later Romijn-Stamos; born November 6, 1972) is an American actress and former model. She is known for her role as Mystique in the original trilogy (2000–2006) of the X-Men film series, as Joan from The Punisher (2004) (both based on Marvel Comics), the dual roles of Laure Ash and Lily Watts in Femme Fatale (2002), and Una Chin-Riley on Star Trek: Discovery (2019) and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022–present). She has also had a recurring role as Alexis Meade on the ABC television series Ugly Betty. Her other major roles include Eve Baird on the TNT series The Librarians, voicing Lois Lane in the DC Animated Movie Universe, and as the host of the reality competition show Skin Wars. In the city of Los Angeles, young mechanic Robbie Reyes lives a modest life with his brother Gabriel Reyes (Gabe Reyes). Everything changes when Robbie, on one fateful night, gets involved in an illegal street race to earn money and provide a better life for Gabe. During the race, the police and a local gang are involved in a shootout. Desperate to escape the situation, Robbie steals a mysterious car that belongs to his criminal scientist uncle Eli Morrow. What he doesn't know is that this car is the vehicle of the former Ghost Rider and contains the vengeful spirit of Eli Morrow. Upon touching the car's steering wheel, Robbie is possessed by the spirit and transforms into the new Ghost Rider. He gains supernatural powers, including the ability to control a mystical car engulfed in blue flames and revenge-related abilities. Robbie's transformation into Ghost Rider coincides with the emergence of the villain "Lord of Fire", a criminal with the ability to control and manipulate fire. Now, Robbie must use his new powers to face Lord of Fire, protect his city and his brother Gabe, and uncover the secret behind the mysterious fires that are ravaging Los Angeles.
