Frank Theodore 'Ted' Levine (born May 29, 1957) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Buffalo Bill in The Silence of the Lambs and Captain Leland Stottlemeyer in the television series Monk.
A 15 years later version of the 1993 historical Western film based on a screenplay by John Milius. It is a fictionalized account of the Apache Wars and how First Lieutenant Charles B. Gatewood convinced Apache leader Geronimo to surrender in 1886.
