In the city of Raccoon City, an elite police force is sent to investigate strange activities near an old mansion, which belonged to the founder of the Umbrella Corporation, a pharmaceutical giant that has its headquarters in the city. But the group ends up discovering that the mansion is a front for a laboratory financed by the corporation, which secretly creates biological weapons, now they need to survive the place, which is infested with undead and mutated creatures.
