Lord Liu Kang ordered the guardians to fight and defeat him. They battled fiercely and finally overcame Scorpion, but he was still consumed by anger—a danger to every timeline. Lord Liu Kang realized that it would take compassion, not violence, to calm Scorpion’s fury.
