Set months after the events of The Mutants where Magneto publically murdered Rev. William Stryker and forcibly drew his line in the sand between humans & mutants; Xavier & his students remain on the run. When things seem hopeless, a mysterious beneficiary named Sebastian Shaw comes forth to offer the wayward mutants shelter and resources via The Inner Circle.
