The series tells the story of a group of gargoyles, nocturnal creatures that turn to stone during the day. After spending a thousand years trapped in an enchanted slumber, these gargoyles—hailing from medieval Scotland—awaken in present-day New York City, where they take on the role of the city’s secret guardians by night.
