The second chapter of the Ollyverse moves the story to GTA's city of Los Santos, with some reimagining of certain geographical features and the way Los Santos functions politically. Namely, the city, in this world, is an isolated, self-sustained city-state, with its mayor having the equivalent of presidential power. The story itself focuses on a group of vigilantes, assembled by Lester Crest as the first line of the city's defense against various threats, too taxing for the city's police. The vigilantes become collectively known as the Carvengers, using Lester's super-powered cars to fight crime (an idea taken from a mini-series made by Smosh Games and drastically expanded upon through seven additional seasons, with increased character development, new characters and a completely original story past season 1). As the show goes on, Carvengers become less of a focus, but remain prominent players in a power struggle between different factions, trying to control the city. Season 1 focuses on the creation of the Carvengers and their internal dynamics, including the clash between Evan O'Connell and David von Laserbottom over the leadership, as well as the development of a romantic relationship between Emmanuel Brown and Mary Hasitaka. The season also introduces the city's "administration triumvirate", consisting of John, the shy Minister of Finances, Phil, the incompetent Police Commissioner, and Mayor Joshua, a white-haired man in his 30-s with a mild case of Tourette's syndrome.
