Brian Tee (born Jae-Beom Takata) is a Japanese-born American actor. At the age of two, he and his family moved from Japan to Hacienda Heights, CA. He is most known for his starring role as Dr. Ethan Choi on NBC's Chicago Med and for his role as D.K. Takashi in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. In James Mangold's The Wolverine (2013), starring Hugh Jackman, Tee played Noburo Mori, a sadistic minister of justice arranged to marry the daughter of the Yakuza Boss. He played Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, the 2016 sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

In 1185, an elite samerai named Haruto Saki was training when he notices a strange lime green stone. When he picked up the stone, he suddenly started to levitate. He also noticed that he can summon gusts of wind. All of the sudden, his village gets attacked by raiders. He uses his sword and his new abilities to defeat the raiders. Then the village celebrate with a huge celebration. After the celebration, the villager elder tells Haruto that his superpowers came from Fujin, the Wind God. The elder also reveals that Haruto had unknowingly merged with Fujin. Haruto then decides to leave the village and pass on his duties to his best friend Kenji Hinata. Thousands of years later in 1920, Haruto moves to America where he meets pro martial artist Jong and the two become friends. The movie ends in 2002 and Jason Carter offers Haruto to join the Crystal Legion which Haruto accepts.
