"FROZONE: ICE UNDER PRESSURE" is a thrilling live-action reimagining of The Incredibles, told entirely from the perspective of Lucius Best, aka Frozone. This film dives deep into Frozone’s private life, his struggles balancing heroics with marriage, and the unique pressures he faces as a Black superhero in a world that has outlawed supers. We’ll witness iconic moments from The Incredibles—the Omnidroid attack, the family’s rise, and the city’s chaos—through Frozone’s eyes, experiencing his own battles, fears, and triumphs. The film opens with Lucius Best (Frozone) in his mid-to-late 30s, trying to live a normal life with his wife, Honey Best. As supers remain outlawed, Lucius juggles his day-job, his friendship with Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible), and his longing for the thrill of heroism. We see scenes only hinted at in the original—his ice-skating escapades, his run-ins with police, and heartfelt moments with Honey, who pushes him to stay safe. When Bob gets back into hero work, Lucius is torn between loyalty to his friend and the promise he made to his wife. As the Omnidroid attacks the city, Lucius leaps into action, racing against time and risking everything to help his friends and the city he loves. Through his journey, we explore the cost of heroism, the strength of friendship, and the importance of hope.
