Shortly after, he developed a social media presence while studying and performing through the Theatre Raymond-Kabbaz of Los Angeles. He is currently enrolled in Loyola Marymount University, pursuing a diploma in Political Science and Theatre. As of 2018, Matthieu has locked in multiple roles including a guest star on YouTube Premium's series 'Foursome' and a recurring role on Snapchat's upcoming series 'Dead Girls Detective Agency,' directed by Suzi Yoonessi.

Set in the historical and political context of 15th century Paris, the series would follow Frollo as a young man with a promising career in politics and law, but also as a deeply conflicted soul struggling with inner demons and desires that go against his devout Catholic beliefs. Over the course of the series, Frollo's relationships with his family, his mentor, and the people of Paris would be tested by personal tragedies, political threats, and moral dilemmas. His obsession with the gypsy dancer Esmeralda, whom he will ultimately condemn to death, would slowly grow amidst conflicts with other suitors and rival factions vying for power and influence. As the series unfolds, viewers will see a transformation of Frollo's character as he becomes more ruthless, paranoid, and consumed by his own sense of righteous justice. Whether or not he will be redeemed or fall deeper into darkness will be a central question of the series.
