Marley Eve Shelton (born April 12, 1974) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Wendy Peffercorn in David Mickey Evans's coming-of-age comedy The Sandlot (1993), the Customer in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's neo-noir anthology film Sin City (2005), Dr. Dakota Block in Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's double-feature film Grindhouse (2007), and Sheriff Deputy Judy Hicks in two installments of Wes Craven's Scream franchise (2011–2022). Her other notable films include Pleasantville (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), Sugar & Spice (2001), Valentine (2001), Bubble Boy (2001), and Rampage (2018).

Seventeen-year-old Charley Brewster a horror movie fanatic discovers that his new next-door neighbour Jerry Dandridge is a vampire responsible for the disappearances of several women. After telling his mother, Charley asks his girlfriend, Amy Peterson, and his friend, "Evil Ed" Thompson for help, no one believes him. Charley tracks down a former movie vampire hunter, actor Peter Vincent. Peter dismisses Charley as an obsessed fan. Jerry hunts down Ed and turns him into a vampire and in the form of a Wolf. Jerry hypnotizes and abducts Amy, with nowhere left to turn, Charley attempts to gain Peter's help once more. Charley and Peter enter Jerry's house, they are both confronted by Billy Cole, Jerry's roommate. Peter battles with Billy, while Charley is able to lure the overconfident Jerry in front of a window using a crucifix. As the sun rises, Jerry transforms into a bat and attacks Peter and Charley before fleeing to his coffin in the basement. Ed arrives and attacks Charlie, Peter pierces Ed through the heart with a wooden stake. Charley and Peter pursue Jerry, the latter breaks open Jerry's coffin and tries to stake him through the heart while Charley fights off Amy, who has almost completed her transformation. By breaking the blacked-out windows in the basement, Peter and Charley expose Jerry to the sunlight, destroying him and returning Amy to her human form.
