Dr. Curt Connors is a professor at Empire State University, primarily teaching chemistry and science. Being a teacher of both Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, however he has a bit of a conflict with the former because Peter is always late and sometimes his grades fail. Even so, Connors has a dark past, since he was the super villain known as The Lizard, a humanoid creature that would be one of the first super villains that Spider-Man faced, which turns out to be one of his students. Since then, Connors would be indebted to the hero, sometimes helping him wherever he needed it.
