Derek Mears (born April 29, 1972) is an American actor and stuntman, best known for his role as Jason Voorhees in the reboot of Friday the 13th.
in 1980 a string of killings in Camp Crystal Lake all happening on Friday the 13th caused by Pamela Voorhees as revenge on the Camp especially the counselors for the apparent "death" and drowning of her son Jason but her reign is ultimately cut short as she's beheaded by machete by own of the counselors. cut to years later several teens go to Camp Crystal Lake as would be counselors but things don't go smooth as Jason Voorhees is revealed to be alive and in hiding too showing up and starts killing and picking them off
