Derek Mears (born April 29, 1972) is an American actor and stuntman, best known for his role as Jason Voorhees in the reboot of Friday the 13th.
Freddy vs. Jason 2 was a movie based on the comic book Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash and like the original comic book itself it too was a sequel to Freddy vs. Jason and it does include the main character which is Ashley J. Williams aka Ash Housewares and the evil book Necronomicon Ex-Mortis the book of the dead.
