Kelly Ann Hu (born February 13, 1968) is an American actress. She starred as Dr. Rae Chang on the American television soap opera Sunset Beach and as Michelle Chan on the American television police drama series Nash Bridges. She has starred in numerous films including The Scorpion King (2002) as Cassandra, Cradle 2 the Grave (2003) as Sona, X2 (2003) as Yuriko Oyama / Lady Deathstrike, The Tournament (2009) as Lai Lai Zhen, and White Frog (2012). She appeared as China White/Chen Na Wei in The CW series Arrow. Hu has had recurring roles as Pearl on The CW series The Vampire Diaries, Hamato Miwa / Karai on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Stacy Hirano on the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb, and as Adira in Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. She also voices Cheshire and Paula Crock / Huntress in Young Justice.

Graduating from high school, punk rocker, J.J. Jarrett has been having dreadful nightmares about Springwood's favorite Boogeyman, Freddy Krueger. She agrees to attend with her friends on a getaway trip for the weekend to celebrate their graduation and head to Camp Crystal Lake to party. However, Freddy leaves Springwood to follow J.J. through her consciousness due to her negative emotions. However, Freddy's too weak after he's lost his collected souls and discovers Jason Voorhees underwater of the lake and resurrects him to take control of him by making him kill the teens and collect their souls which empowers Freddy. Once he's gained enough powers, he targets other teens before Jason can kill them, and once Jason begins to stalk J.J., Freddy becomes furious towards Jason considering he wants to kill her himself and would even have to fight Jason to do so.
