The story follows Agent Frankenstein and Bride from their creation at the hands of the sadistic Dr. Victor Frankenstein to their recruitment into the covert agency of S.H.A.D.E.
Nearly a century and a half later Agent Frankenstein and Bride discovered that S.H.A.D.E had a mole who is trying to locate and rebuild a device from their past known as the Soul Grinder.
