"Forever Friends" tells the heartwarming story of Sam, a color-blind young boy with a vivid imagination, and Bob, a mentally handicapped man with a childlike innocence. They form an unbreakable bond as they play superheroes, Superman and Batman, in their small neighborhood. However, circumstances force them apart as they are compelled to move to different places. Years later, Sam, now a man in his 40s, embarks on a heartfelt journey to reunite with his long-lost friend, Bob, who is now an elderly man.
