Barry and Iris investigate and discover that the technology used by the Rogues is connected to Russell Glosson, an elderly inventor, who killed Clyde in order to steal his technology. It’s revealed that Glosson is the Turtle, an old enemy of the original Flash, and helped the Rogues out of disgust that someone has followed on his nemesis’ legacy. Turtle uses an advanced suit that can slow down reality around him, but is defeated by Flash and Mark Mardon. Mark brutally beats Turtle but is stopped by Flash.
