Mike Schmidt has returned to his old job as a Security Guard, He faces hostile animatronics, including the "Toy" animatronics and the decayed "Withered" versions of the original animatronics, by using the office's cameras, limited power, a Freddy mask to fool them, and winding a music box to keep the Puppet at bay.
