Dispatched by Fazbear Entertainment, Michael's mission is to find traces of the missing William Afton, last seen entering the decaying restaurant. Michael knows the horrifying truth others don't: ten years prior, he witnessed his genius father taking the lives of five victims—including a girl named Cassidy—and helped cover up the crimes. Now, as Michael explores the building, he finds himself hunted not just by the victims awoken within mascot characters, but by Cassidy herself. Her furious consciousness has seized control of the pizzeria's systems, determined to keep William imprisoned forever in a monstrous form within a hidden chamber. Guided by cryptic, real-time messages from his trapped father pleading for rescue, Michael must navigate Cassidy's digital and spectral wrath, confronting his own dark past and twisted loyalty, all while trying to reach the decaying monster he still craves approval from.
