Raphael is an alligator snapping turtle who was mutated to become part human. He is one of the main protagonists of the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series. He is the oldest and former leader of the Mad Dogs. His weapons were a pair of tonfā, which help him tap into the power of "Smash-Jutsu", until they were destroyed, and replaced by his sais.
