Cary Joji Fukunaga (born July 10, 1977) is an American filmmaker. A director of TV and film, he first came to wide prominence by directing the first season of the HBO series True Detective (2014). He is known for directing critically acclaimed films such as the thriller Sin nombre (2009), the period drama Jane Eyre (2011), the war drama Beasts of No Nation (2015) and the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die (2021). He also co-wrote the Stephen King adaptation It (2017). He won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series as the director and executive producer of True Detective. He also directed and executive produced the Netflix limited series Maniac (2018) and executive produced and directed several episodes of the Apple TV+ miniseries Masters of the Air (2024). Agent 007 James Bond has been assigned a new mission, to rescue the ever-beloved member and fine four bender friend of the Potts family, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from the evil new Baron and Baroness Bomburst who are planning to turn Chitty into weapon that will spray a deadly gas that not only will kill all the children in the world but will also make every adult sterile so that no child will ever exist .The M16 agency was hired by Truly Potts, named after her great-great-grandmother, Truly Scrumptious-Potts and has a three old daughter from a previous marriage. She fears that Chitty is in danger since he's been her family for many generations. James Bond, knowing that he'll never turn down a beautiful lady, agrees to accept the mission. The Baroness, although she is married to the Baron, has her sight set on 007 and will want him as her personal plaything. Of course, James actually does have some moral standards, he will never sleep with a married woman nor with a woman who hates children, and the Baroness is both. James will also have deal with their hench man, The Child Catcher.
