Alex Browning is embarking on a trip to Paris. Alex suffers a premonition when he sees the plane explode moments after taking off. Alex insists that everyone get off the plane and seven people, including Alex, are forced to disembark. Everyone watches as the plane actually explodes in a ball of fire. He and the other survivors briefly cheat death, but they will not be able to avoid their fate for long. One by one, these fugitives from fate become victims of death.
