Madam Blossom is the owner of the Pink Blossom brothel, whom Liu described as the queen of the village. Lucy Liu wanted to emphasize Blossom's strength against all the male fighters and convinced RZA to give the character a fight sequence with Cung Le's Bronze Lion.
