Kim Do-Gi (portrayed by Lee Je-Hoon ) is the main protagonist of the 2021 Korean Drama series Taxi Driver (2021). He is a former soldier who graduated from the Naval Academy and became an UDT (underwater demolition team) Official, only to find his mother murdered when he returned from his service. Unable to get the justice she deserves, he is invited by an enigmatic man named Jang Sung-Chul, who lost his parents to a serial killer years ago, to become a part of Rainbow Taxi Company, a revenge call service to help victims like them and use his potential and knowledge to fight the corrupt society. In terms of personality, Kim Do-Gi is a young man who has endured unimaginable mental trauma and breakdown caused by the murder of his mother when he returned from his military service and was unable to find justice and closure for her death. The trauma has left him with an unhinged nature, but also a fierce resilience that drives him to take on the injustices of the world, especially after he joins the Rainbow Taxi Group.
