Ezran is the King of Katolis,[6] the son of King Harrow and Queen Sarai, the younger maternal half-brother of Callum, the nephew of Amaya, the grandson of King Atticus, as well as a descendant of the Orphan Queen. Along with Callum, Bait, and Rayla, he returned the Dragon Prince, Azymondias, to his mother, the Dragon Queen Zubeia, to establish peace between the humans and the inhabitants of Xadia. Two years later, he regrouped with his friends to embark on a new quest of preventing the liberation of Aaravos.
