Hailey Bennett (born. March 10, 1993) is a young woman from New York working as a part-time barista at the same Manhattan café where Sally Gómez is employed. She is Jeremiah Green’s love interest (and later his girlfriend) and a crucial source of support for the Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers crew. Thanks to her maturity and kindness, she often acts like an older sister to the teenagers on the team. Physical Appearance Hailey possesses a classic, radiant beauty, with natural blonde hair—usually worn in a loose bun while working—and warm, highly expressive green eyes. She has a slender, average build that creates a striking and fascinating visual contrast when she stands beside the massive Jeremiah. Her style is simple, neat, and comfortable; she favors pastel tones and practical sneakers that keep her comfortable during long shifts at the café. Personality Hailey is the embodiment of calm, gentleness, and patience. She has an innate ability to read people and bring a sense of peace to any room she enters, which is why café customers adore her. Although she is a rather reserved introvert who prefers quiet over chaos, Hailey possesses remarkable inner resilience and iron determination when it comes to protecting or helping those she cares about. She is never intimidated by imposing physiques or tough attitudes; in fact, she is the only person in New York capable of instantly defusing Jeremiah Green’s "storms" of frustration and trash-talk with nothing more than her presence and warm words. She is extremely empathetic, an excellent listener, and a person of absolute loyalty. Although she prefers to stay out of superhero battles and dangerous missions, Hailey serves as an invaluable emotional anchor for Jeremiah and the rest of the team, offering them a safe haven where they can forget the immense responsibilities weighing on their shoulders. Abilities Elite Barista: She possesses remarkable talent in the art of coffee making and café management, being exceptionally organized, efficient, and attentive to each customer's individual preferences. Emotional Intelligence and Mediation: She knows exactly how to calm heated tempers and defuse conflicts—a highly useful skill, especially when the Green brothers or Dennis start aggressively teasing one another. Care and Recovery: She has excellent knowledge of nutrition and physical recovery, always ensuring that Jeremiah recuperates properly after grueling games at Rucker Park or Madison Square Garden. Trivia She and Sally are best friends; although they have completely different personalities, Sally instantly approved of her as the only girl right for Jeremiah. She loves flowers and houseplants, transforming the café’s relaxation area into a small green oasis. Jeremiah was so captivated by her from their very first date that he accepted the nickname "Bear" without a murmur of protest—even though he is the one who gives everyone in Manhattan their nicknames.
