Tōtōsai (刀々斎とうとうさい, "Sword Purification") is an elderly humanoid yōkai swordsmith specializing in the demonic, who forged Tessaiga and Tenseiga from the fangs of his old friend, Tōga. He spent most of his time at his forge inside a volcano, but sometimes traveled elsewhere on his flying three-eyed ox yōkai named Mō-Mō.
