Wade Whipple is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. He is a human, and one of Tom Wachowski's fellow police officers at the Green Hills Sheriff's Department. Following a blackout in Green Hills, Wade got entangled in Dr. Robotnik's hunt for Sonic the Hedgehog. Regardless, Wade would help Tom, Sonic, and Maddie when the time came to defeat Robotnik. When Tom later went on vacation in Hawaii, Wade took over as temporary sheriff, during which he let himself get entangled in Robotnik's schemes once again until Robotnik was defeated.
